Review: I have to admit I was a little reluctant to go to a Steven Spielberg movie starring Leonardo DiCaprio. However, through some skillful direction and the fact that there was an interesting story to tell, Spielberg managed to make a charming movie. The fact that it is a true story, even if some creative license was taken, makes it a little more interesting. This movie was fun, with an excellent sound track, some good acting, and the classic Spielberg direction.

DiCaprio used his young face and that acting ability that everyone always forgets about to play a smart con man, who uses his charm and good looks to get what he wants. Tom Hanks, in an amusing performance, plays the nemesis FBI agent, who develops an interesting relationship with DiCaprio. Christopher Walken plays DiCaprio’s father, for which he won a well-deserved Best Supporting Actor Oscar. There was also an enticing scene featuring Jennifer Garner as a high-priced hooker.

This movie was worth watching.
